The shoot I did for House of Blues -sunset strip was one of my most involved shoots in a while. I had fallen in love with the stunning atmosphere in their ‘foundation room’ and really wanted to capture more than it’s look. I wanted it to have the elements of a movie frame drawing the viewer in with the charm that it possessed when visited…. Capturing emotion however is definitely far more complex than simply reading up on your lighting….

Most yogis never see Tibetian mountain-ranges and exotic waterfall vistas as they push their practice to the next level. I asked 4 amazing instructors if they could reach the tip of their practice wherever they lay their mat… they showed me that the essence of yoga comes from within and blew my mind as we practiced on dirty streets, in rain and among cars swooshing by.  Thank you Loren, Damien, Sandy and Adi

Moving my Photography into the moving image world has been a goal of mine for some time. After learning more about the medium and understanding how incredibly important and difficult it is to get you sound perfect (there’s a reason this is a job in-itself) I Quickly realized that the best approach for me would be to start with music video work – especially since I already did some 60% of my work with bands and artists… stay tuned for the edit of my Kenny Chesney edit
